DESCRIPTION: Offered here for your consideration is a super handmade necklace by Leo Coriz. This necklace features a lidded drum style pendant with channel inlays of turquoise, coral, onyx, and mother of pearl resting in smooth silver settings. The settings are surrounded by twisted wire and hand stamped designs. It features a handmade silver chain with hand stamped links, and a very nice turquoise and coral Jocla dangle. This piece should be added to your collection now!

MAKER: Hallmarked LEO CORIZ (Stamped). (Santiago) Leo Coriz (1913 or 1914 -1997; Kewa). Active since the 1930s. Coriz is a multiple award winner who studied at the Santa Fe Indian School with Ambrose Roanhorse in 1931 and 1932. 

APPROX AGE: Vintage (meaning somewhere between the 1930s to 1970s).  

SIZE: This necklace measures approximately 25 inches from end to end, and the pendant measures 1 5/8 inches across (at the widest point) x 2 inches from top to bottom. The Jocla measures 3 1/2 inches long. The total weight for this item is 101.2 grams.

CONDITION: Good for its age, normal wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
