This is a replacement hose end connector for expanding hoses.

How to install the connector: 

To replace the existing connector you will need to cut the connector off, peel back the outer hose cover and expose the rubber inner hose. Thread the outer plastic cover onto the hose followed by the white plastic cone, wider end of cone facing the new connector. Push the new connector barb into the hose as far as you can, bring forward the white plastic cone and then thread back on the plastic cover and then the fitting is ready to be used.
