One of the first books on computer science by the Czech pioneer of the fault-tolerant computer system. He designed the first Czech computer, SAPO in 1950, the first fault-tolerant computer that was much more advanced than its better-known contemporary, ENIAC. This volumes issued as #27 in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Radiation Laboratory Series.
