If the item is brand new and sealed, it must be returned brand new and sealed, otherwise, based on the eBay's policy, a deduction of up to 50% may be applied to the refund. If the item is defective you may claim the manufacturer warranty (that is the warranty for) instead of returning it to avoid deductions from the refunded amount.
