Photograph Notes: That Richard Seifert got everywhere. He and his partners designed this in 1971 for ICI as a research building. It stands quite aloof from, and is a startling sight amid, its prevalent bland, low-rise surroundings. The exterior modules are "arrow-shaped, linking together to leave hexagonal windows in deep reveals" ([[[2757675]]]). The benzene ring, foundation for all synthetic dyes, is hexagonal. It is now in multiple occupancy.
