I am offering for sale today this Extra Fine Sargent Adjustable Low Angle Block Plane Inv#AC89w

This Sargent adjustable low angle block plane that is in "as found" GREAT USED condition. The japanning is in worn used condition. The sole & cheeks have some spotting & pitting. The cap has some wear & loss japanning. The cutter is pitted and discolored and would need to be sharpened The cutter is marked with a Sargent No 5307, it measures 4-5/8" x 1-5/8". This plane has an adjustable mouth; the front toe area of the sole can be adjusted by an eccentric lever to the desired throat opening. A tight throat for delicate work and a wider throat for heavier cuts. Weighs 1.5oz.

This plane is a must have for hand tool woodworkers. It is easy to use, fits the hand well and offers excellent performance.
