I am selling a Visconti Divina Desert Spring ballpoint pen. Standard Visconti Parker-style ballpoint refill fitted. Arguably one of the most beautiful ballpoint pens ever made by Visconti.   It is made from a solid block of magnificent variegated celluloid, with dark blue and ivoire-coloured swirls in a tan-brown coloured background, and its trim is palladium-plated.  The celluloid cap and barrel are faceted, with the facets spiraling around the length of each, a feature of this beautiful Divina range.  Twist-action mechanism. New old stock.    Mint in standard leatherette box.   Length closed is 13.7 cm, width at widest point on cap (excluding the clip) is 1.35cm, and weight empty is around 35g.  Please note that the pen to be shipped to you will have a differing pattern to that shown in the photos.... however, overall the swirl pattern is quite busy and broadly similar from pen to pen.  Also, the sterling silver spiral strips around the body will show tarnish and scuff/micro-scratch marks, normal for these pens and as supplied  by Visconti --- we do not polish these out, preferring to ship the pen with its patina exactly as supplied by Visconti. Purchase with confidence. This is a beautiful large pen from a truly wonderful pen manufacturer.   Feel free to contact me for any further information.

International buyers, please note that the listed item price and shipping cost do not include import duties, taxes, and related charges.  The buyer is responsible for these charges.  Before bidding/buying, please check with your local customs or other responsible office for information on these charges.

We ship internationally by DHL Express, and domestically by TNT Express, to your physical location, and not to any PO Boxes or like delivery points.

We do not use Australia Post for international deliveries, because we are concerned to minimize the risk of loss.

From time to time, we may change our selection of courier for delivery of your item in order to ensure a cost-effective service, and having regard to your particular location, those couriers who have better coverage in your area, any local regulatory controls, and other factors.

If the buyer's eBay and/or PayPal address information is, in our opinion, ambiguous or incomplete, we will not ship until the buyer has provided us complete address information.  In this way we can minimize risk of non-delivery.  If this additional information is not provided within 2 days of purchase, we will cancel the transaction, and reimburse any paid monies.  For apartment or unit dwellers, we will require the buyer's address record to clearly state the apartment or unit number, separately from the street number, for example, "100 John Street, Apartment 222" or "100 John Street, Unit 222".  Descriptions such as "222-100 John Street", or "100/222 John Street", or similar, are considered ambiguous and shipping will not occur, in accordance with the above.

Thank you for your cooperation in making my service efficient and relatively free of risk.

Combined Shipping Discount

I offer a combined shipping discount for multiple listed items, but only in circumstances whereby the multiple items are being purchased on one and same invoice/transaction showing the reduced/adjusted combined shipping rate. This requires the buyer to request a total for multiple purchases prior to payment, or to defer payment after the multiple item purchase commitments are made, prior to payment, so that I can make the necessary adjustment to the invoice and submit it to the buyer for payment.

If you do not know how to request a total, or are unable to defer payment when the purchase commitment is made, please refer to eBay and its online instructions.

I do not offer combined shipping discounts for items purchased separately, and/or outside the procedure outlined above.

The reason for this policy relates to the fact that eBay as a matter of course does not automatically retrospectively refund seller fees/commission expenses for retrospective shipping expense adjustments on separately purchased/paid-for items, leaving the seller with the administrative burden and related expense of claiming rebates at a later date via a cumbersome procedure.

Shipping and other delays may occur

While we will make every endeavour to dispatch this item in a timely fashion, delays with couriers/postal agencies, as well as import authorities (eg. Customs) in the buyer’s country, can occur and these delays can be up to weeks, if not months (as may be experienced with recent world-wide events). In buying this item, the Buyer is acknowledging that such delays may occur, and are out of the Seller’s control, and the Seller is not responsible for them.
