An original 1972 vintage Promo 1st US pressed record on Kama Sutra. I picked this up as part of the record collection of an ex record company executive named Martin (Marty) Hirsch. Mr. Hirsch passed away around 2017 and had lived in Chicago while working for ABC/Impulse, Kama Sutra and Buddha Records as well as others over multiple decades. Many of the records I received were Promo or DJ only copies that were mailed to him for preview. This is a 1st press and a Promo copy like nearly everything from that collection. I have a select handful of other records from this collection that I will be letting go in the coming days and weeks.

Cover: VG The hole punch to the top right is from the factory and one of the indications of a promotional pressing from Buddah records, the hole punch is only through the cover and not through the inner liner-sleeve. They shrink-wrapped over the hole punched cover before sending out to various early pre-release recipients. The record cover is no longer in shrink but has been stored in a poly-bag for extra protection since I received it. The top of the cover has a seam split
