For the benefit of everyone and in view of past experience, there are several points I must make clear.

"I'm not a business seller or a dealer. My items don't have to sell in order for me to pay bills or put food on the table. Having 50+ years model building experience in both static display and flying models, I have a reasonable knowledge of the items I put up for sale, the proceeds of which help to fund my future modelling projects. All items are photographed and described honestly, 'warts and all', so buyers can be confident there are no hidden problems or nasty surprises awaiting them when their package arrives".

1) Unless otherwise stated, all photos will be of the actual item being sold and

      not simply a generic picture of the item type.

2) Due to the above, please study the photos carefully as they form a large part

     of the item description, especially in relation to cosmetic condition.

3) I may be willing to consider reasonable offers but please be sensible. Prices

     are pitched towards an average of current and past sales values, Worldwide.

     Making an offer DOES NOT reserve an item. Until it is accepted, the item is still

     for sale.

4) I will ALWAYS combine packing/shipping costs for multiple items bought

     together and going to the same address, either national or international.

5) Overseas buyers are welcome but please be advised that I will NOT

     "get creative" (Falsify) information on the customs label to avoid tax or other

     fees your Country may impose. THIS IS ILLEGAL so please don't ask.

This engine would be described as "Very Good" to "Excellent" condition, except for the one broken cooling fin on the head (as highlighted in two of the photos) . This is only a small cosmetic defect, which does not effect the working of the engine in any way but it's only fair to point it out. That being said, I doubt very much that this is due to a crash. Experience tells me that it's most likely the result of someone trying to use an oversized screwdriver on the head screw, or someone using a tool in the slots between fins to lever the engine into position in a tight bay.

The engine comes in it's original box and apart from the issue mentioned above, it's a good, honest, working example. The mounting holes have been slightly enlarged but in no way butchered.

The compression is excellent and my experience tells me that it's had very minimal running in the past.

A strip down to check the piston and clean out the needle valve, was all that was needed prior to testing. The carb operates smoothly and freely.

Testing proved uneventful. The engine starts easily, only requiring one or two flicks. It runs smoothly and evenly (It's definitely not some clapped out old lump) and the throttle response is excellent. All the buyer needs to do is fit their choice of plug, bolt it to a model and head for the flying field

This is being sold as a working engine, not a display piece. As such, it has had a gentle cleaning and a drop of after-run oil, before being offered for sale. I do not bead blast, buff and polish them up like a Prom Queen, trying to look special.

Shipping will be via Royal Mail, 'Tracked and Signed for' service only. The international rate will be £26 GBP, regardless of Country but the multiple purchase discount will still apply.

Items will be shipped within 48 hours (usually 24 hours) of receipt of cleared payment. In the event of any unforeseen delay, the buyer shall be informed and given the option to cancel the transaction for a full refund.

As a private seller, I'm not legally bound to offer a returns policy at all but I accept that accidents can happen, mistakes can be made and I like to believe that people who purchase my items are basically honest, fellow modelers. Unfortunately, past experience has taught me that 1% of chancers can spoil things for the 99% of genuine people.

To the 99% I apologise.

Once you receive your item, please check to make sure it is correct and matches the photos in the listing. Should I have sent out the wrong item or misrepresented it, then you can return it with the original packaging, etc, for a full refund including postage costs.

Should you receive the correct item and no longer want it for some reason, you can still return it with the original packaging for a full refund less postage costs.

Anything beyond a visual, hand held inspection, means you have accepted the item. Unfortunately this has to include the mounting and running of engines as I have no way to monitor your procedure.
