My husband and I
have been selling antiques for the last 38 years but have closed
our shop and are clearing the remaining stock and parts of our personal collection. Please save us as favourites to keep an eye on new items to be offered.
On offer today:
A vintage, hand-made, BETEL NUT CONTAINER, believed to have been made in Cambodia.
This cute little piece was a gift to me from an antique dealer in Sydney in the 1970's. It has repousse work, engraved and punched, made into two parts that fit snugly together.
It has been silvered and is a lovely piece of Cambodian metal work.
Exact age is unknown.
This sweet little piece measures c. 6 cm long x 4cm wide.
Displays nicely.
Showing obvious signs of wear* from many years of use.
