VINTAGE FRENCH LINEN FIREMAN'S SAND BUCKET BAG

An unusual vintage early 20th century probably 1930s French linen firefighter’s sand bucket, having 

J. Thirion Pompes Habillenments Paris

stamped in red. It has a sturdy wooden handle and wood hoops top and bottom,

the sturdy linen is a natural colour.

The bag bucket collapses down when not in use. 

J Thirion were makers of clothing etc for firefighters.

In good general condition could do with a wash, ideal for decorative general storage or in the kitchen for garlic, onions etc.

Dimensions approx H 29cm (35cm with handle) Dia 23.5cm
