Here we have an early American hand crafted level and plumb bob. Bought in the '60s at a Vermont antique dealer for a decoration...recently used as intended to restore a house in Charleston SC - It's now being sold as part of an estate sale...both the bubble level and plumb bob are original and operational. The line for the plumb bob has been replaced.
