Each volume is stamped 'signed' by Asprey on the leather of the inside front covers. 8 volume reference desk set. Housed in a fine, inlaid, wooden stand. Books bound in full leather with gilt pages on all sides. Illustrated with maps in color. Spines have faded back to brown from the original blue dyed leather which is still present on the covers. Set is mostly undated, but I did find a date in the French English Dictionary of 1912. The bottom volume, the dictionary, has lost the leather pull tab to pull it out easily, and it got wet at some point which left a stain on the rear cover; pages remain in great shape. Leather has rubbing on edges, most heavily on the spine head of the atlas volume.
