Delightful and elegant - a 1930s 1940s embroidered floral motif  evening cocktail  bag.  Downsizing my collection and time for this lovely bag to find a new home.  Displays really well

The front has a panel of hand embroidered panel with tapestry style stitiched cotton motifs.  The spotted background underneath is all hand sewn with a tiny black check and white fleck spots.  

Back is plain black. 2 stitched silk cords form the base.

Gold tone frame and chain handle. Filigree clasp closes with a good click.

Extremely good vintage condition with no damage to the fabric or embroidery.  

Inside lined with black satin moire in good clean condition- no vanity pocket .  No Label 

15cm wide  12 cm high. Handle 28cm approx
