Inspector lamp
Globe is marked Dietz; There are no other markings that I could find. The front of the light has a reflective shield. The back has a smaller hole that has a red filter that can be moved in place. See photos.
Condition - overall in fair condition. See photos for condition. It looks to me, not knowing much about lanterns, that this is an antique oil light that was electrified in a way that it could be turned back into the authentic oil lamp; no holes were drilled during the switch to electricity. I will add that a wick and the piece that holds the wick would need to be purchased, I believe, to make it actually function.
I have two of these.
Frame is roughly 13.5" tall (not including wire handle).
Base is 6.5" in diameter
All glass is intact
Definite dirtying. Glass is oily/dirty.
Weighs just over 3 pounds. I ship very carefully, which adds to the weight.
