DESCRIPTION
This is a lovely vintage prom dress from the 1980s made in the USA by Zum Zum. The dress is made out of a light pink 100% acetate satin that has a subtle floral design on it. The bodice is fitted with boning for support, and the neckline is asymmetrical (one side is slightly higher than the other). The dress has an asymmetrical drop waist as well, and the skirt is made out of a full circle of material. The dress is strapless, and it closes with a zipper down the back.
PLEASE NOTE: I have photographed the dress over a crinoline to help show off how full the skirt is. However, the listing is just for the dress. The crinoline is not included.
SIZING
There is no size tag on the dress, but I believe it would best fit a size Small. The actual measurements are as follows:
Bust: 16.5 inches across, underarm
to underarm (33 inches around. There are bust darts just below this that
expand the bust slightly. For reference, my mannequin has a 32 inch bust,
and this dress was a little roomy on her in the chest.)
Natural Waist: 14 inches across (28 inches around, measured at the
narrowest part of the dress)
Drop Waist: 17 inches across (34 inches around, measured at the seam
between the bodice and the skirt)
Hips: Full and roomy
Length: 41 inches from the underarm to the hem
Note: These are the actual measurements of the garment, so please leave yourself room for comfort of movement. All measurements were taken with the item laying flat. The flat measurements were doubled to give an approximate measurement around.
CONDITION
This dress is in very good vintage condition. I did notice that the zipper has a wavy look to it, but this is a minor flaw that shouldn't be too noticeable when the dress is worn!

Shipping:
I go to the post office every week day, Monday - Friday. I typically ship items out one business day after I've received payment, so if I receive payment on Friday, your item will go in the mail Monday (although if I receive payment early enough, I might get it in the mail the same day). If you need an item to be shipped right away, just let me know and I will do my best to get it out to you as soon as possible!
PLEASE NOTE: I will ship your item to the address listed on the payment, so please make sure that your address is up-to-date!
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I am happy to ship internationally, but please note that as the buyer, you are responsible for any taxes or duties your customs office might charge on packages coming from the USA.
Clothing Condition:
The large majority of the items in my store are vintage and/or pre-owned. I will list any major flaws in the item description. However, most vintage clothing has been around for several decades or more, and it may have some minor snags in the fabric, the occasional loose thread or other minimal signs of wear. Vintage items may also have raw seams that have not been serged. By purchasing, you are accepting that these items are used and may not be 100% perfect. However, if you feel I have overlooked a major flaw, please let me know!
