As a rough guide to how much pleated ribbon is needed for rosettes with 50mm (2") centres:
1st tier = 16cm,   2^nd tier = 22cm,   3^rd tier = 28cm,   4^th tier = 35cm
 (Please note: these lengths are each tier 
ie: a 2 tier rosette would need 16cm + 22cm of pleated ribbon + flat ribbon for tails)
