Condition for age as shown. C1905 ANTIQUE Maiden Voyage SS NIEUW AMSTERDAM OCEAN LINER SNUFF BOTTLE VG. All sides are shown. I believe this was the first ocean liner with this name that was built in 1905. This might have been for their maiden voyage. The name on the verso is JOHANN MARIA FARINA was an italian born perfumier from germany. This bottle might have been dedicated to him. I don't know if this is porcelaine or bisque. Looking on the inside I believe its porcelaine. The crown top is metal. Measures 3/4 X 2 x 1 & 3/8 X 3 & 1/4". Just remember enlarged photos or scans tend to exaggerate any flaws.
