This vintage Japanese hand-woven wood and ink painting from the 1920s 30's 40s was crafted out of pieces of planed wood, woven and then drawn and painted on.

This measures approximately 19" tall by about 6 inches wide.

Condition: The frame has scuffing to the edges and age wear. The back has small tears to the original paper (see images) Everything is original to this lovely piece of art, including the tag bearing the name "Fred C Pate Bedford PA" the store this was originally sold at.

In my research I could find references to this store being in Bedford from the 20s to at least  the 40s. I don't know if this was pre WW2 or after WW2
