I am a member of the West Africa Study Circle (WASC).  Join me!

It is an international philatelic society whose members study the stamps and the postal history of the territories and islands of West Africa.

Our philatelic studies range from the earliest philatelic times to the present-day, and include stamps and covers, postal history, censorship, postage dues, meter marks, postcards, maritime mails, airmails and postmarks throughout the region.

Our well-used website – http://www.wasc.org.uk – is kept fresh and up-to-date with news on members, publications, meetings and auctions.

The Study Circle is run by collectors for collectors.

WASC has over 210 members in the UK, North America, Europe, Nigeria, Africa and Australasia.

Our award-winning quarterly journal, Cameo, covers a wide range of articles contributed by members, news items about our area and activities, as well as sections reviewing recent publications and auctions.

The annual subscription includes three issues of Cameo

There are over 20 designated Group Leaders of West African territories who can offer expert advice to member’s inquiries.

WASC is affiliated to the Association of British Philatelic Societies (ABPS)and American Philatelic Society (APS).

The subscription rate is £20 for UK, £27.50 other European residents and £32.50 for those living in the rest of world. These rates also entitle members to download the digital version of Cameo from our website.

For those who only require WASC membership and the digital version of Pacifica the annual subscription is just £5.  That is a fantastic deal!
