This is a really sweet pair of clay Candlesticks with white Bunny rabbits and plants and on a Blue background. They are all handmade, hand painted and Burnished in the pottery tradition called bruñido by Antonio de Jesús Díaz Medrano.  Antonio is a young artist from Tonalá in Jalisco Mexico, he comes from a long line of ceramic artists.   I have 2 other sets of Candlesticks with different animals by Antonio available in my Ebay Store.... 

They measure approximately;  7 3/4 inches tall by 3 3/4 wide & 3 1/2 inches deep. 

"He comes from a family of artisans, where he grew up with a taste for preserving family traditions, and like every Tonalteca child the trade, he learned from his parents; María Refugio Medrano Lumus and Roberto Díaz Jarero. Today Antonio represents the 5th generation of artisans, which he represents with great pride…..

This plate is a wonderful example of Mexican Folk art and Ceramic traditions from this area of Mexico.  This is a newly made piece and is in perfect condition and is on the bottom.
