Title: Harvest on the American Frontier - ca. 1780

This is one of four original works of art I have for sale by Peter Mead Stapler, created in 1971-1972. The subject matter takes place from the Revolutionary War up to The War of 1812. They look like they were meant to be for a book, but I can't find any info of what book they were for or if they were published. Each one is double matted with a wood frame that looks original to the 70's, and all have minor wear on the frame and old tape on the back. This one has a clear glass front, and the other three have some type of anti-glare glass.

This one shows two men harvesting corn and a uniformed soldier in the background. The background also has a fort with the American Flag flying above.
