Nippon Kogaku (Nikon) Nikkor-S 5cm f1.4 Lens Adapted Macro Focus E Mount. The Nikon lens is in   average condition. The barrel shows   wear, and the glass has a little dust, but no other blemishes that I can see.  Someone has removed the original mount on the lens and has replaced it with a m42 tread mount, then the lens is mounted into M42 to Sony E adapter with Helicoid focusing.  The lens has a very short focusing range it's only about 8 to 15 inches. The image of the toy bus (not included with the listing) was taken with this lens from a distance of about 15 inches

OTHER THEN TO TAKE THE IMAGE OF THE BUS, I HAVE NOT PERSONALLY USED THIS LENS.  IT WAS PART OF A LARGE LOT OF LENSES I BOUGHT FROM A GRAPHIC PRODUCTION DESIGNER WHO SOUGHT OUT LENSES THAT WERE CONSIDERED OF SUPERIOR OPTICAL QUALITY. MANY OF WHICH HE ADAPTED TO USE ON OTHER FILM AND DIGITAL CAMERA BODIES
