DESCRIPTION
This is a gorgeous vintage peignoir robe and nightgown set from the late 50s - early 60s made by Artemis. The robe is made out of a beige floral lace, and it is lined in pale pink nylon. The robe has short, puffy sleeves, and the sleeves are lined in chiffon, so they are slightly sheer. The robe has a peter pan collar that is trimmed in satin piping, and it closes with a row of buttons down the front.
The cups of the nightgown are made out of beige lace like the robe, and the cups are lined in pink nylon. The nightgown is sleeveless with a high cummerbund waist, and there is a set of attached ties that can be used to cinch in the waist in the back. The skirt of the nightgown is made out of a sheer chiffon that is a muted green color, and the skirt is lined in pink nylon as well. The nightgown also has little satin butterfly appliques accenting the neckline.
SIZING
The nightgown is tagged a size 32 and the robe is tagged a size Petite. I believe the set would best fit someone in the XS - Small size range. The actual measurements are as follows:
Robe
Bust: 19.5 inches across, underarm to underarm (39 inches around)
Shoulders: 13.5 inches across, seam to seam
Length: 38 inches from the shoulder to the hem
Nightgown
Bust: 15.5-17 inches across, underarm to underarm (31-34 inches around)
Waist: 13.5-14.5 inches across (27-29 inches around. The waist can be
cinched in with the attached ties)
Hips: 19-20.5 inches across (38-41 inches around. This is the
measurement for the lining.)
Length: 37.5 inches from the top of the strap to the hem
Note: These are the actual measurements of the garment, so please leave yourself room for comfort of movement. All measurements were taken with the item laying flat. The flat measurements were doubled to give an approximate measurement around.
CONDITION
This set is in excellent vintage condition.

I go to the post office every week day, Monday - Friday. I typically ship items out one business day after I've received payment, so if I receive payment on Friday, your item will go in the mail Monday (although if I receive payment early enough, I might get it in the mail the same day). If you need an item to be shipped right away, just let me know and I will do my best to get it out to you as soon as possible!

Clothing Condition:
The large majority of the items in my store are vintage and/or pre-owned. I will list any major flaws in the item description. However, most vintage clothing has been around for several decades or more, and it may have some minor snags in the fabric, the occasional loose thread or other minimal signs of wear. Vintage items may also have raw seams that have not been serged. By purchasing, you are accepting that these items are used and may not be 100% perfect.
