This listing is for an antique wall clock that is shaped like a banjo.  There are other different looking clocks that are called banjo clocks too, but this one really looks like a banjo, which is a novelty item, so I think.  The banjo is made of metal, not plastic. The insert clock is made by New Haven and the banjo shell is Viking.   The insert is removable and replaceable, and I have seen them selling here on eBay.  So, if you need a replacement, you can certainly find one.  I know nothing more about it than what I have been able to find on eBay and Google. This clock measures approximately 7.5 inches long, 3.5 inches long 1 inch deep.  From what I have been able to find, this item is over a hundred years old and I was shocked to discover this information.  It appears to be very well made.  It winds up and it works as far as I can tell.  It takes a wrench to adjust the time, which is not included, but an adjustable wrench should work just fine.  However, I would take this item to a jeweler or two before adjusting it yourself.  It does look like it is missing a screw in the back and a jewler should have one or be able to get one or you can probably find a slotted stainless steel  screw at a hardware store like ACE or True Value.  Be sure you go to a jeweler that works on vintage/antique clocks and watches as some only change batteries.  Other listings I have seen say that these old clocks may need an adjustment after shipping, I really don't know what they are referring to, but I will make sure the clock is not ticking when I ship it so that it does not draw unnecessary attention.  Please take a good look at all the photos and feel free to ask questions.  Others like this clock are selling for 124.00 and up here on eBay and elsewhere.  My price reflects the burden of finding another slotted  screw.  Actually, you may not even need it.

This item will ship safely USPS Priority Mail and the price includes shpping.  I will wrap the item in bubble wrap and protective padding.  I will use shipping paper to help prevent shifting during shipping.  I will ship in an appropriately sized box.

Returns and Refunds: All sales are final and are not returnable. Battery Operated and Electronic sales are also final with no returns and no exceptions. All items are inspected and tested prior to listing and shipping.

I do not accept returns or make refunds unless I am in error with the description with regard to condition or function. And, it must be a significant error that interferes with the items intended purpose, not a matter of subjective opinion.

I am not responsible for any lost or damaged items by the carrier. In the rare occurrence a return is accepted, the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and return item’s condition. Please see shipping rules for more details. I can not make refunds for any item that may be lost or damaged by the carrier.

Payment: I expect payment within 24 hours after an auction closes and immediately after an item is purchased now unless I accept reasonable arrangements. I understand special circumstances and reasonable arrangements will be accepted.

Shipping Rules: I try to get process orders to be shipped immediately after payment is verified. Unless prior arrangements are made, all items will be shipped USPS. If you have a shipping carrier preference or prefer something more than what is offered in the description, please let me know prior to or immediately after your purchase, however, the buyer is responsible for any additional costs.

I typically use the shipping calculator eBay provides. In addition, many items may be shipped in padded envelopes where possible unless a box is requested. I practice safe shipping and take all reasonable precautions to be sure nothing is damaged during shipping.

With respect to boxes and packing supplies, I like to reuse them when ever possible to keep costs low. I do not charge for recycling and its good for the environment.

Please be sure the address you are using on eBay is updated and correct as that is the address that will be printed on the shipping label and I am not able to change the address while the item is in transit no matter which carrier you prefer to use.

I do not charge for combined shipping. I only charge the cost of the label and a few dollars for supplies.

Please be understand, the shipping calculator is not always correct and best serves as a close estimate. I can absorb the difference between the shipping calculator estimate and the actual cost when it is only a few cents, but I can’t absorb dollars. If the difference is to great for me to absorb, I will contact you prior to shipping with the exact shipping amount. I will require you to pay the difference prior to shipping. If disputed or ignored, I will refund any amount paid and relist the item after three business days.

I am always happy to combine shipping when it is safe to do so. I do not charge any additional fees to combine shipping. If you purchase multiple items and pay the individual shipping amounts, I will gladly refund to you any overage you may pay. If you make multiple purchases and choose to wait for a final combined shipping cost, please confirm your request via email so I can place a priority on your order for invoice readjustment and payment.

If you are in Alaska or Hawaii, please contact me to be sure the shipping is correct. Not doing so will only postpone shipping. If you live outside the US, please contact me for a shipping quote to be sure the shipping calculator doesn’t overcharge you. The eBay global shipping program is what it is and I only ship to the address given to me by eBay.
