ARTCURIAL HERGE AND HERGEE
Auction Catalog

Hergée, the first wife of Hergé, whose maiden name was Germaine Klieckens, was rarely associated in her husband's success.
She did, however, sign a VERY RARE set of books in 1952, the first editions of Jo Zette & Jocko (Le testament de Monsieur Pump, Destination New York) for some very dear friends of Hergé and herself: the couple who designed the "foulard de la liberté" to celebrate Belgium's liberation from the Nazis. Extremely rare, it is worth between $9K and $12K. As for the Jo, Zette & Jocko books, I have them in my collection and have posted them on eBay. They can be had for $2500 each, or $3500 for both.
