Very Unusual Pair of Portraits on Board

These portraits are graphite on either pine or birch panels

Probably continental and mid 19th century

One has a faint Raud Hoeck under the lady and the male portrait has F.H

The quality is super and even though slightly faded they are really well drawn from a gifted artist

Very unusual surface for graphite
