TESTED.  I connected camcorder to AC Adapter (Charger) and put a tape in and the functions Play, FF and RW worked.  When I looked into the eyepiece the picture didn't look clear.  I didn't test further.  No guarantee that the unit works.  Includes a battery and when I plugged into the charger, the charge light came on, but the battery is from 1996 so no guarantee that it can hold a charge.  Does include a new tape that I took out of the case to test the camcorder.
