You are bidding on a rocker panel that fits all 1954 1955 and 1956 Buick Special and Century model cars, both four door and two door. This panel was made using a Schofield rocker panel made in the 1950's as a template. The Schofield rocker that was used as a template was not designed to be a slip over rocker, this rocker is designed to be an exact replacement rocker. The ripples along the inside edge of the top flange put a bow in the rocker so that it properly aligns with the bottom of both the front and rear doors. This panel can be used on a four door car or it can be modified to use on a two door model, it would extend into the bottom of the rear quarter from the door to the rear wheel well. If any of the panels that I sell have surface rust beyond what metal conditioner will clean off I have them cleaned by the friendly staff at Restoration Specialists in Hales Corners, WI, PH 414-529-1515. With their alkaline electrolytic immersion process they can take any size panel up to an entire car body and clean all the paint and rust from it so it looks like a new piece of metal again. I have thousands of these body repair panels for cars and trucks from the 1940’s, 1950’s and early 1960’s so if there is anything else you are looking for just let me know and if I have it available I will list it on auction for you.
