Largely assembled by Robert Sterling Clark (1877–1956) the 374 paintings in the Clark Art Institute reflect his interest in European 19th-century art – Impressionism and Renoir in particular. This two-volume publication documents that aspect of the collection for the first time, with reproductions of each artwork accompanied by notes introducing the artist and placing their work in context. Bibliographic details, provenance and a technical report for each painting are also recorded.

If the item is damaged or we have supplied you with the incorrect product, our Customer Services team will arrange a replacement or refund for the goods to be returned free of charge. If, after your order has been dispatched, you wish to cancel the order because you no longer require the books, you will need to send the goods back to us at your own expense. When the goods are received back in good condition we will refund you for the goods and any postage you paid on your original order only. Authorization to return damaged/incorrect goods must be obtained at all times.
