Casio GMW-B5000V-1 IP Aged Metal Full Metal G-Shock

With the release of the Full Metal line in 2018, Casio struck a chord with collectors who clamoured to get their hands on this new flavour of up-market G-Shock. After the wild success of this line, Casio backed it up the next year with the Baselworld release of the IP Aged Full Metal piece we have here. As the name suggests, it’s black DLC coating has been applied to give an aged, well worn appearance. It gives it a distinctive vintage vibe, but without the years of wear and tear that usually entails. Perfect!

Has all the cool features and fantastic proportions of the DW-5000, a personal favourite of the G range, but with an aged-look DLC-coated metal outer case and bracelet for a little G-Shock luxe.

The feature set of the B5000V is too vast to list, but includes phone connectivity, auto-time adjust, solar power and LED backlighting amongst others.

This particular piece was purchased locally in September 2019 and presents in TZ Good condition. It's obviously a little hard to grade given the nature of its aged appearance, but it does show some small nicks and pin dents around the bezel, hence the 'Good' rather than 'Excellent' grading.
