I am a long-term collector of memorabilia from the M*A*S*H television series (autographs, set props, and other -- please see my other M*A*S*H items). Up for sale is a rare find: An aluminum Mess Hall Coffee Pot used as a prop in the M*A*S*H television series.

This M*A*S*H Mess Hall Coffee Pot is in very good condition for its age (please see photos). The outside bottom of the prop is engraved with the markings: "MIRRO  MANITOWOC" (markings reference the Mirro Aluminum Company, which was apparently located in Manitowoc, WI, and operated from 1909 through 2003; the company was commonly referred to as "Mirro").

There are scratches over the surface and inside of the coffee pot; however, the structural integrity of this prop is fully intact. The handle of this prop is approximately 4" in length. The prop is about 5" wide. The opening of pitcher is about 5 and 1/8" in diameter. The pitcher is approximately 8" in height; the prop weighs approximately 1.5 lbs.

This M*A*S*H Mess Hall Coffee Pot includes an original COA that has been hand-signed by Steve Karnes (Armorer) and Paul Francis (Archivist) of the Ellis Prop House.

Ellis Props closed in 2000, selling off millions of props in June of that year (for more information on the sale, please see the following article):
