About the Tin Town Company from Cape Town, South Africa:

Reminding me of a Cecilia Ahern novel, Tin Town is a magical place that came into existence in a garage in Cape Town at the end of 2001 when two former advertising creatives, Magdel and Andre diverted their skills towards designing delightful décor creations for the home and garden. Crafted in metal with the help of two production teams within the local community, Tin Town’s designs are stylish and functional entwined with fairytale touches and a sprinkling of African influences rendered through intricately detailed cutouts and silhouettes; characteristic features that define the company’s signature style, and result in products that are whimsical and fun. Collections include products for the home; candle holders, furniture, tableware and lighting; for the garden; personal accessories, such as picture frames and jewellery; and seasonal designs like ornaments and other tree decorations.
