1/10th RC Jeep Wrangler Pick-up 6x6. This is a custom built one off full 6-wheel drive [no open diffs] Jeep Pick-up with trailer that can easily carry its own weight + in load. Size is 68.5cms long, 109.5cms with trailer. 21cms wide by 22cms tall. Pick-up weight 5kgs. Based on a King Kong 6x6 Chassis it has an adapted hardbody with opening lockable doors and opening bonnet with full interior detail. Utilising 2 x 5000mlamp Ni-Cad batteries run times of up to 2 hours are possible It uses a SCX10 motor, electronics, 2ch RC and wheels/tyres along with front and rear bumpers with the front 4 lights all working LED’s for easy driving at night. The KK 6x6 chassis has been strengthened and upgraded with re-enforced trailing arms mounts along with a custom Panhard rod to virtually eliminate both rear axle sideways movements. Metal geared hi-torque steering servo fitted for nice smooth steering control. Full proportional engine sounds with start-up and shut down Rear spare wheel is on a swinging rear mount. The pick-up part of the body is metal as is all the chassis and axles along with leaf spring suspension and all mechanical parts. The leaf springs allow a decent load to be carried without crushing the suspension but at the same time allow good axle articulation making this a go just about anywhere machine. All parts have run for less than 1 hour allowing all to be tested thoroughly. It is all bolted together so the body and cab can all be removed easily if required. Trailer is a from a 1/6th Jeep with SCX10 wheels/tyres the same as the pick-up, working leaf springs, again to carry a decent load and has a modified axle to allow full independent turning of each wheel.
