This is the 1957 Hifi Year Book, published by Miles Henslow publications. A rare and highly collectible title. 

 
It features essays by technical authors of the day, with a comprehensive equipment directory featuring prices, technical specs and photos, along with a range of manufacturer's adverts from famous and not so famous names, most of which are now long gone.

No dust jacket on these early versions of the series, with the cover printed direct onto the boards. 

It is hardback and in excellent condition.
