Brazilian Gaucho Spurs, Laprat, Eberle Model 90 Silver Spurs
Wonderful find this pair of turn of the century Brazilian spurs, made by Eberle Silver Company. Brazilian Cowboys were known as Gauchos.
These are a model / style 90 spur.  Each spur is marked Laprat. Eberle 90 on the inside of the heel band. The spurs weigh about 4oz each, very light weight for that time period, they have a 1-1/8” 16-point rowel (very sharp tips), they have a 1 ½” shank and the heal band / yoke has about a 2 ¾” spread.  These were fitted to a smaller boot (but you must remember people had smaller feet back in the 1800s)
We have lightly cleaned the spurs; they still show some tarnish. These are silver-plated over brass with silver over metal rowels.

Circa, 1880-1920s
Measures, 5 ½” long.
Condition, remarkable as found condition with light scuffs from use.
Please see all photos as they are part of the description.
