THE FAULT
The poor quality bearings on your vehicles wiper linkage rods wear causing the above symptoms
The original soft plastic bush bearings on each end of the two wiper linkage push rods wear down leading to the push rods popping off the ball joint and causing the symptoms noted above.
Other designs of bushes available are made from the same material as OEM and of the same design, resulting in the fault to occur again.
