The sword was saved only because it was deeper in the ground.
It was found already in two pieces and we decided not to restore it, because wanted to save its relict appearence. The sword was cleaned with electrolysis, which allows without any mechanical input remove all the dirt; after it was boiled in water and covered with wax, so it is saved from any types of corrosion and has beautiful black shine.
