We go to estate sales regularly and come across a wide array of unique and rare items.  We add to our growing online inventory daily.  We pick up new items from all over the world and all over the US.  We also have a growing customer wish list.  If you'd like to, feel free to add us to your saved seller's list and let us know what you collect and/or need.  We’d be honored to add you to our customer wish list.

We ask what we consider to be a fair price for anything we sell and understand that our idea of a fair price may be someone else's 'that's too much' price.  If that's the case, feel free to make us an offer and will consider it.  We also have sales regularly, so check back often.

There is always a Sale by TheBay!

We picked up a pretty cool small collection of airline memorabilia that all seems to date to the 1940s and 1950s and will be listing them in the coming days.  Feel free to check out our inventory if you're a collector and as always, we are happy to provide combined shipping.

Now onto the item for sale.

For sale is a vintage TWA passenger flight packet with the passenger ticket in the ticket envelope from 1954.

PLEASE NOTE: We got another flight packet with the passenger ticket in it which is dated December 12, 1954.  The flight date of this ticket was January 1, 1955, so we trust the passenger went to visit someone for Christmas given the flight dates of the two tickets.

The passenger ticket shows it went from Los Angeles to Chicago and finally into Pittsburgh.

This flight packet has 11 pieces in it, so with the passenger ticket and ticket envelope, it's an 11 piece set.

Including the passenger flight ticket, ticket envelope and drink napkin we're throwing in since we got it with this collection, there is a total of 14 pieces.

All of the contents come in the original flight packet envelope and includes an immaculate complete system flight schedule effective November 1, 1954.  It shows every domestic flight and international flight available and the prices for each flight.  It looks like it could've been printed yesterday.

Also included is a reservation request form, a TWA Hertz rental car foldout brochure, a TWA Avis rental car foldout brochure, a Skyliner Tours of Europe booklet request foldout, a postcard of TWA's new Super Constellation Skyliner jet, a TWA Indian country postcard, a Western Union telegraph form, a TWA air mail label and a TWA Fly Super Constellations luggage label.

Each piece is in excellent condition and certainly among the best condition you'll find.

As stated previously, we're just throwing the napkin in, but it does have some rust colored spots on it.

The luggage label has a slightly'wavey' corner and the reservation request form has two bent top corners since it stuck outside of the envelope.

The envelope has some slight wear, but nothing at all overwhelming or distracting.

Other than that, every pieces is exceptional and as nice as you will find.

This flight packet will be shipped in a padded envelope via insured ground advantage with the USPS.  We wrap all our items that ship in padded envelopes in cardboard for extra protection during shipping.

Thanks for looking and God bless!
