Item: Mexican Jewelry Set - pair Earrings and Brooch that is also a pendant. Stones are onyx and a material that is either Amber/Bakelite/epoxy resin/or something.
To start with, I don't know if this is Amber or not. It has tiny bubble and a lot of inclusions. Amber has both, but so does bakelike and epoxy resin... esp. if you add those things. It feels like plastic, but could be Chiapas Amber or some other item. Either way, it's impressive and the artist knew what he/she was doing.
Other than there... here we go. The back of the earrings are marked .925 and the brooch/pendant is marked Mexico - Sterling. For their size, the earrings are normal weight, but the pendant/necklace has a bit of weight to it. I cleaned it to get the tarnish off.. but it should be buffed to make it shine. You can do that with rouge, silver polishing cloths, a dremel (I use)... or use a google search for other ways. It's not hard and only takes a minute and you will need to get use to it if you're planning on buying other such jewelry.
The pictures can do the rest of the talking. If you see what appears to be the same pic, I moved them around to get more light on the amber-like part.

The size is like 1" across and 1 3/4" up-down on pendant... Earrings about 1/2 that.
