This tabard style apron is from the latter 1960s or early 1970s from the label style.   I am sure I remember it in use by 1965 and was used for polishing silver to making fairy cakes.  Please take as seen.


This has been through the wash though still might have the odd mark.  Some edges are worn, two stitched mends, pocket side needs stitched down.  The mend seen 3rd last photo could be improved to take less material.


Measurements, (approx):


length from shoulder at neck - 75 cm


width at shoulder - 40 cm


Width on tabard at waist - 36.5 cm


width at waist including ties - 123 cm, so ties are 43 cm each


width at front base - 51.5 cm  



The main wearer was a size 10 or 12.   Children and adult men have used this item.
