Elephant's Foot
Latin name: Pachypodium geayi
This stunning bottle-shaped tree, reaching heights of
4-8 meters, boasts metallic grey succulent stems resembling cacti.
Distinguished by its thinner leaves with a unique midrib color, it outshines
the common Pachypodium lamerei in decorative value. Its trunk, above ground and
columnar, can store up to 91.5% water. With proper care, it's an attractive
addition, growing around 10 cm annually, and a captivating accent plant for
warm climates. Ideal for container gardening.
