Summary
What is it?
These are 3D Printed tools to ease installation of new camshaft seals on Miata engines.

How do I use it?

Read the service manual for your car (you have one, right?) and follow the instructions to prepare the seal and bore. Place the tool against the seal, install the bolt, and slowly tighten to push the seal evenly into the bore.

Keep a close eye on the seal as it needs to go in straight. Due to printing tolerances, the driver can tilt while in use, so keep an eye all around the seal as you drive it. It can be used with gentle taps of a hammer as well to straighten things out if they become crooked.

Warning! This tool won't stop at the proper distance, it's up to you to make sure you only push the seal in until it's flush! Read the service manual!

What's it for?
These tools should work on all 1.6L and 1.8L BP engines.

The shorter cam seal driver is for Exhaust cams on all ('90-'05) Miatae and Intake cams on non-VVT ('90-'00) models.

The longer VVT seal driver is for installing the VVT intake cam seal on applicable ('01-'05) models.

These installers will probably also work on other engines using the BP, like certain Ford Escorts and 1st gen Kia Sephias. Possibly other clones of the BP like the Kia T8D in 2nd gen Sephia/Spectras

Anything else?
Basically, needed these tools since I'm rebuilding my NB2 engine and instead of buying some and waiting forever for them to arrive, decided to just make them using measurements from my engine and seals. I hope someone else finds them useful!
