Can be used in the Sun or Rain, protected with oiled water resistant coating Umbrellas have long played a role in Thai traditional life. Handcrafted by skilled craftsmen in a small village called Bo Sang, just outside of Chiang Mai in the North of Thailand. Umbrellas come in a wide variety of shapes and finishes, beautifully decorated and fully functional or used as ornamental pieces. These umbrellas are constructed with a strong solid bamboo framework. Ideal for weddings, formal parties and special occasions, to protect from the sun or rain.
