R&L Snap together model kit.

This auction is for a Mint In Bag model of a Snow Trac from the POLAR BASE set made by Rosenhain and Lipmann in Australia, in 1975 for a retail release in the USA. It is identical to the item issued by Kellogg in Australia in 1967 but never felt the warm embrace of cereal.

The Polar Base series of toys took inspiration from the activities of ANARE (Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions) in Antarctica.
