BERU contact sets for conventional coil ignitions and contact controlled transistor ignition systems. Ignition contact sets are also known as contact breakers. They are used in conventional coil ignition and in contact switched transistor ignition systems. Ignition contacts sets are used to switch the primary circuit on the ignition coil or switch the control current to the transistor ignition.
