Many high end manufactures and other speaker builders use twisted pair wires inside their cabinets. Twisting action cancels out any natural inductance between the two wires, plus helps reduce magnetic interference from other wires and other sources inside/outside the cabinet. The twisting action reduces interference so well that you see many car amplifier wiring kits use it for running the line output of the head unit to the line input of the amplifier. This enables the Aux cable to use higher gauge wires for better current flow without having to use an outer shield around the cable.

Audtek 16 AWG twisted cable uses 26/30-gauge OFC Oxygen Free Copper stands to reduce current loss versus CCA stands. Pure copper strands also make it easy to create long lasting soldering joints. The red and black PVC insulators that surround the strands make it easy to identify polarity, plus it also comes in a blue and black insulator (sold separately) to help with speaker identification.
