It is an oil on oak panel and depicts a wealthy Lady in 17th Century dress playing the harpsichord, with pearl jewelry. Condition is good for age, with it being on oak panel there are some nicks and a split which is quite common and to be expected on a piece this old. There is some fading and loss of paint in areas - please see photos.  The colours are still bright and the image is attractive.

The size is approximately; 56cm (H) x 44cm (W) including frame, or 48cm (H) x 38cm (W) not including frame.

 It has a naive, but charming quality - a window into the past!
