DESCRIPTION

This is a lovely formal gown made by Eden Maids, and it has a retro 50s sort of style.  The material is a shiny polyester taffeta that is black, and the dress is fully lined in black polyester.  The dress tucks in at the natural waist and then flares out at the hips.  The skirt has a layer of tulle netting between the outer layer and the lining to help show off the fullness of the skirt.  The dress sleeveless with wide straps, and it has sequins accenting the neckline.  The dress closes with a zipper down the back. 

SIZING

The tag labels this a size 10.  The actual measurements are as follows:

Bust: 19 inches across the front, underarm to underarm (38 inches around)
Natural Waist: 15.25 inches across (30.5 inches around, measured at the narrowest part of the dress)
Hips: 24 inches across (48 inches around)
Length: 43 inches from the top of the straps to the hem 

Note: These are the actual measurements of the garment, so please leave yourself room for comfort of movement. All measurements were taken with the item laying flat. The flat measurements were doubled to give an approximate measurement around.  

CONDITION

This dress is in excellent used condition.

Shipping:

I go to the post office every week day, Monday - Friday.  I typically ship items out one business day after I've received payment, so if I receive payment on Friday, your item will go in the mail Monday (although if I receive payment early enough, I might get it in the mail the same day). If you need an item to be shipped right away, just let me know and I will do my best to get it out to you as soon as possible! 

PLEASE NOTE: I will ship your item to the address listed on the payment, so please make sure that your address is up-to-date!  

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I am happy to ship internationally, but please note that as the buyer, you are responsible for any taxes or duties your customs office might charge on packages coming from the USA.  

Clothing Condition:

The large majority of the items in my store are vintage and/or pre-owned.  I will list any major flaws in the item description.  However, most vintage clothing has been around for several decades or more, and it may have some minor snags in the fabric, the occasional loose thread or other minimal signs of wear.  Vintage items may also have raw seams that have not been serged.  By purchasing, you are accepting that these items are used and may not be 100% perfect. However, if you feel I have overlooked a major flaw, please let me know!
