On offer: an original (i.e. not a later reproduction) scarce antique map "Holland."

DATE PRINTED: c.1815  Taken from a slightly earlier map.

SIZE: The printed area including titles is approximately 23 x 20 cm, 9 x 8 inches (medium) plus margins. 

PROVENANCE:  This antique map comes from 'Barclay's Universal English Dictionary Including a Complete Modern Gazetteer and Atlas...' by the Rev James Barclay, published in Manchester by J. Gleave 196 Deansgate, c.1815.

ARTIST/ENGRAVER: Unknown however appears very similar to the John Russell map published slightly earlier.

TYPE: Antique copper plate engraving printed on paper.

VERSO: There is nothing printed on the reverse side, which is blank.

CONDITION: Good. Please check the scan for any blemishes prior to making your purchase. Virtually all antiquarian maps and prints are subject to some normal aging due to use and time which is not significant unless otherwise stated. Small stain top left corner.
